My partner Dave and I go to a lot of concerts, like to travel, go to the theater, art exhibits, museums, and bike riding is a passion. We’ve been together now for 24 years.
Used to like to play the guitar. Fancy myself as a artist – painting in oil, biggest influence in art – Gordon Onslow Ford, Stanley William Hayter, Ben Nicholson, Emil Nolde, Kandinsky, and Sigmar Polke. Dave and I silkscreen when we have a chance.
I love to read but have little time for it – Recently finished reading Savage Detectives – Roberto Bolano, The Possiblity of an Island – Michel Houellebecq and I am making my way through the final installment of the Baroque Cycle by Neal Stephensson – The System of the World. Most of my time reading is spent on the web or my nose is in one of the many books on Flash and Php – talk about boring. I have yet to read one of these books that doesn’t make a botch of how to actually work with the program – about the most helpful of all that I have read was Object-oriented Actionscript for Flash 8 by Peter Elst and Todd Yard – but it still had me scratching my head when they skipped over things they thought they might have explained.
I have tried to teach myself French for the last couple of years – and it has been a slow go – but i’m still giving it my best.
